School Outreach Visits — Meeting Students Where They Are

Dare To Live begins its impact directly on campus. Through our School Outreach Visits, trained peer leaders, psychology students, and mental health professionals engage with middle schools, high schools, and colleges to start open, honest conversations about mental wellness and suicide prevention.

About this program

Dare To Live begins its impact directly on campus. Through our School Outreach Visits, trained peer leaders, psychology students, and mental health professionals engage with middle schools, high schools, and colleges to start open, honest conversations about mental wellness and suicide prevention.

Each visit includes:
• Interactive Presentations that explain the cycle of suicide and how to recognize early warning signs.
• Peer-Led Testimonies where trained youth share authentic stories of recovery, resilience, and hope.
• Mini Circles & Activities that teach active listening, empathy, and safe communication.
• Resource Connections linking students to counselors, crisis lines, and the Dare To Live Club Network.

These visits transform mental health education from a lecture into a shared experience — reducing stigma, building empathy, and empowering students to seek help for themselves or support their peers.

Impact Goal: Equip 10,000 students annually with the tools and confidence to recognize emotional distress early and take meaningful action.
